Lunch & Learn: Challenge of Improving the Health Care Literacy of the Asthma Community

DETAIL:  

The Georgia Asthma Coalition received State funding (DPH) in 2010 and operated continuously supplying schools and continuing Ed through the SARSCoV2 pandemic. Our program was used as a template for several other state's asthma education initiatives.

We had many Nurse AE-C candidates pass the exam, and many positive School Nurse stories about 'saves' in the Georgia schools. We learned so much and are excited to share the details!
