Lori Wilken, PharmD: Lori Wilken works as a Clinical Pharmacist in the Lung Health Clinic at the University of Illinois Health Sciences System in Chicago, Illinois. She is the director and founder of the UIH Tobacco Treatment Clinic. As a Certified Asthma Educator, she works closely with the pulmonologists and allergists to provide asthma and COPD medication management and patient education. She is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Ilinois College of Pharmacy where she teaches tobacco dependence and pulmonary therapeutics. She has published several book chapters and articles on tobacco dependence, pulmonary function tests, asthma and COPD. Her current research interests include assisting patients with quitting marijuana smoking and engaging pharmacy students in providing inhaler education to patients.
