Throwback Thursday Webinars—
Learn About Asthma Management in Schools
During Asthma Awareness Month

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is opening the webinar vault and re-releasing the classics related to asthma management in schools during Asthma Awareness Month! Attend the webinars throughout May to hear about topical issues related to asthma and key strategies to address them. You will learn about the importance of combining an effective indoor air quality (IAQ) management plan with an asthma management plan in schools, the effects that these plans can have on student and staff health outcomes and academic performance, and how to develop a business case that generates broader acceptance of and funding for your program.

Additionally, be sure to join us for a live discussion on June 6, 2019, when EPA staff, along with health and school district experts, will expand on common themes and strategies for reducing asthma triggers in the school environment. You also will have an opportunity to ask your questions and seek guidance.
