Dear Members:
The Association of Asthma Educators is pleased to announce a scholarship opportunity to our members. A scholarship has been created by the founding members of AAE, in memory of Elliot F. Ellis, MD. Dr. Ellis was instrumental in supporting AAE during the creation of the organization in 1998. Your AAE Board of Directors have also contributed to the fund with 100% participation. AAE members who would like to support this effort can also donate in Dr. Ellis’ memory via the AAE website.
The scholarship will be made available to AAE members in good standing who are seeking to obtain certification as an asthma educator (AE-C) through the National Asthma Education Certification Board. Details on this scholarship will be available on our website and applications will be accepted starting July 1, 2015.
